VP of Marketing and Communications

The Vice President of Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing and maintaining marketing and service policies and programs, communications and systems to support TIM's direction and aligning TIM with the corporate objectives to maintain the reputable brand and continue to attract users.  The VP is part of the management team and will work within the management team to ensure that TIM provides a positive user experience and effective communications to customers.  This role will be ever evolving, please note this descriptions is not designed to be a comprehensive list of responsibilities or skills needed.

The VP will oversee all marketing communications, including branding, public relations, target market selection and identification, and other related product positioning.  The VP will direct and create marketing programs for lead generation, and work closely with the sales team to develop new strategies.

  • Required education and experience:

    The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree and/or an MBA, and 5-8 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the travel, insurance, online company space.


    Sales Manager

    The Sales Manager will oversee the Customer Service Representatives and will analyze historic and current sales and leads data to identify the strengths and weaknesses of existing approaches, and will work closely with the VP of Marketing and Communications to identify business development strategies.

    The Sales Manager will set goals and expectations for the Customer Service Representatives, will manage customer relationships to keep customers happy and will conduct ongoing training for his or her team. This role will be ever evolving, please note this descriptions is not designed to be a comprehensive list of responsibilities or skills needed.

    Required education and experience:

    Customer service experience a plus.  Call center management experience also a plus.


    Marketing Intern (Social Marketing)

    The Marketing Intern will be a full or part time college student, ideally in his or her junior or senior year, with a Marketing or Business Administration major.  The Intern will be current with social media channels and trends.  The Intern will work closely with the VP of Marketing and the Sales Manager to identify social media marketing strategies and avenues, create content and materials, and publish as necessary.  The role may also require tracking of click-through and sales.

    Credit available.  Flexible schedule, full or part time, or seasonal.  Possibility of turning into full time job upon graduation.


    Customer Service Representative (maintain MA life and health insurance)

    The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for managing client relationships, answering questions prior to purchase, after purchase, and in the process of filing a claim.  The Customer Service Representative will also be involved with the insurance providers where a claim has already been filed.  Desire to help people and ability to work some evenings and/or weekends, strong PC and telephone skills are key.

    Required education and experience:

    Massachusetts Life and Health Insurance Producer License required prior to start.
